Extra Frags from Pigmo (SPS)

RMF Skullcrusher or Skullcracker or something like that
From Law Office Aquariums. We have it under 850 par, maybe that's why it slowed down lol. $175

Our 8' frag tank seam broke a few weeks ago. My brother said the fish were alive, in 1/2 an inch of water. All the acros were outta water. Friggin pain!

I thought this was better under 900 par, but after moving it to 450 the body got color. Maybe 375? Grown from a RRU frag, since 2018. $200

(PIgmo) Hot Stuff
I totally don't know the real name of this. Grow from a RRU frag since 2018. My brother put it under 800 lol -- maybe I'll try it under less par. $225

CB Valhalla
Yea right? Noob buys a tiny frag from a vendor, who happens to be a genius at photoshop. Maybe it will color better in your system. $50

(Pigmo) This is Gonna Hurt
Malaysian millepora, Borneo. Zoom in on the polyps, wild. If an acro has (polyp) colors I can't see with my naked eye, are they really there? $350

(Pigmo) Lavandaria
Another Malaysian mille. From an aquaculture disk from Sabah (F1), making this F2 in captivity. Lime, pink and hues of baby blue, all the colors a girl likes! My brother says his favorite dive site in Raja Ampat is called Washing Machine. $250

RC Poison Envy
Grown from a frag since 2019. They didn't have Zoom back then. I think I'm burning it too much at 750 par. It looks like a bubble bath unicorn type thing under white lights. $125

Beautiful corals! Quick question for you... the par numbers you have posted seem to be super high. Obviously it is working for you. How do you attribute the large difference between recommended levels of 250-350 (BRS, WWC,etc) to the levels you have posted? Thanks!

Los Angelenos are prone to excess lol. But seriously, depends on the acro. They're all endemic to different parts of different reefs. So the BRS #s, well, it's a decent guideline, but do you see any acros glowing in their tank lol?

Anyhow, I posted par #s so buyers who know their par, who run similar lights will likely retain nice colors, nice growth, if they place the frags accordingly... trying to reduce f-ups, and increase success!

Otherwise it's a stab in the dark ;Chicken
