I completely redid my aquascape as part of a post Dino sps wipeout. I had all real Fuji live rock that had been in my tanks for around 10yrs+. I moved quite a bit to my sump as I had nowhere else to put it.

I have maybe 75lbs in my sump of various sizes from medium to large. Some totally flat and some large and really nice.

Im finally at terms with not using them and moving them out and using the sump space. I’m not going to use them in the near future for another tank so I’m at a loss as to what to do with them....

If I sell them, I’m sure I’d end up regretting it. But at the same time, storing them for years is not ideal either.

I assume if I put them in a brute can on the side of my house with SW but no circulation or power, I might as well just let them dry out right?

I should probably just sell them or give them to a lucky local reefer. :/

What would you recommend? Is there a good way to store them? Should I just pay it forward?

Really think about it before you decide. Also, just curious as to what they look like, do u have any pictures

What do you want to use the sump space they are occupying for?
It’s a large section, probably 30-50g. I typically use it for fish time out and I’ve used it for coral on occasion. The current plan is to grow chaeto.

Do you need the extra nutrient export from the chaeto? I'd try doing what I can to keep the extra rock in my system if it were me.

I do. I feed very heavy for my fish.

although I don’t need the whole section for chaeto. Maybe I’ll divide it and use half for the rock and half the chaeto.
