How to acclimate Corals to your Reef Tank​

I didn't realize acclimation could take hours. I have only been doing it around 30-45 minutes. I guess some are more delicate and it would ensure better results acclimating for a couple hours.

Some corals I acclimate for 15 mins or less it all depends on the coral type, how long they have been in bag, and differences in water parameters

Thanks! So for shipped corals, put them in QT after acclimation first and then dip a few days later. How long in total do you recommend QT, and do you suggest multiple dips over time at some interval to kill newly hatched eggs?

This again is highly dependant on the type of coral, I normally Qt corals a couple of weeks and only dip the first time and dip right when reomoving them some corals I dip multiple times Scott #ExtremeCorals
