I can’t believe the speed of the flagellates(?) in this small creature. When it moves it is a blur. You need to look at the movie to really appreciate it.

Interestingly, I started a new 15gal aquarium to explore different algae. It was started from old rock and seeded with one small piece of live rock and a piece of coral. The diversity of microscopic creatures in this small tank exceeds my display tank that has been set up for 20 years. I suspect this means I am missing some type of predator in the new tank.
Please let me know if you can identify the organism.
