I have trying to design a stand for a new frag tank/lagoon build I am doing. The frag tank will be 96"x48"x12".
I am having trouble with what size extrusions to order.

Does anyone know if 1"x1" aluminum frame and supports will be enough, or should I use 1.5"x1.5"?
I will of course be using corner supports and 2 additional uprights and both sides and top and bottom.

There used to be a build thread on here of someone building the same size frag system that used 80/20 frame but I cannot seem to find it.

The weight of saltwater is 8.6lbs per gallon.

If my online calculator is correct a 96x48x12 equals roughly 240 gallons of total volume

240 x 8.6 = 2,064 lbs of saltwater

Smthg to think about when talking about hallow 1inx1in aluminum struts.

At that kinda weight you really need the advice of a Structural Engineer.....
