Zeppelin.. that's an awesome grow out tank... just the way I like mine to be when done... full of zoas on the LR...

Larry,

Very nice grow out tank. How do you treat your zoas when they come in? Do you do a prophylactic dip, or just QT and observe? I can't imagine the thought of a nudi getting into a mass of zoas like that...

When they first come in, they get a freshwater dip, followed immediately by a 25% Hydrogen Peroxide/75% saltwater dip, then a full saltwater dip rinse before they go back in the first tank. After a week or so, they get the same again, then go into the growout tanks a couple weeks after that.

I have 2 completely separate systems. One for when the corals first come in, and a second for after I'm fairly positive they are predator free as well as all the die off has occurred.

Larry,

Do you inspect them, or just treat? Inspection during the treatment is what takes so freakin long (got a bunch of frags and mini colonies from a local that were covered in nudis, so I've been fighting them for months now in a QT).

Here is a single polyp of the Lavender/green stardust PE...I have a slightly larger frags of these to that are looking nice....

These have not been named and I have not seen these anywhere here is a little back ground on them, one of the LFS here that run it a little more like a super stor had a rock of these with about 100 polyps for $50. I should have gotten it but didn't have the cash. Well over the next few weeks right before Holloween I noticed a small frag setting next to the rock with about 5 polyps on it. I asked one of the guys that I know real well if they would sell it to me. He kinda gave me a devious look and said yea man $5 bucks. I don't think he was supposed to but snuck a quick sale anyway. Much better then $50, well over the last 3 weeks or so the polyp count has tripled....These are the most bright fluorescent orange I have ever seen and they have a fluorescent green mouth which is really cool color contrast....I havent had a chance to get a really good picture to show the colors yet. I am going to submit them to zoaid.com here soon. These polyps are the smallest I have seen yet too much smaller then a eraser head....Anyway here is some pics of them.

Here is a rock I got from them a few months before that like 70-90 polyps for $30...They have colored up real nice and have a pink metallic color under my lights...

These ones are much better in person too...I can't get my camera to not get so much blue in the picture. My tank isn't as blue at the pictures look.

These were sold to me as Monster lips...Kinda look like RPE but much darker and maroon...

Yea those are one of my new favorites....You should have seen the rock full of them it was a really, really nice rock, although most of the polyps withered and died I guess from what one of the guys there said. He said another person fragged what they could and bought them. I guess I was lucky to get the small frag when I did...:)

Man I need a polyp of those with my Deaths! :)

LOL!! Nice man now hook me up with a polyp or two!

Azurel, those oranges are phenominal! If/when you feel like fragging let me know :)
