I have mine under a 4 bulb T-5 setup in a 12" deep prop tank. I little lower light. They seem to look allot better with less light, especially in the shallow prop tanks. The guy I got them from has them at the bottom of a 550 under 400 watt halides, kind of shaded.

Thanks I will try moving it down to a somewhat shaded area under my prop racks and see what happens.

A couple full tank shots from last spring:)

Hey guys. Just thought I'd post a couple pics of my tanks earlier this year. Some of you know me from zoosrus. The 1st is my 75 gal. RR oceanic bowfront mainly zoas and lps. The 2nd is my 75 Gal. RR Oceanic soft coral and lps tank. These shots were taken before a big nudie and aptasia battle. I now have all my live rock cleaned and ready to go again so as soon as I set up my big tanks again I will post some progress and growth pics.

Zoa tank has (2) ushio 175 w. 10 k's,(3)110W. ACTINIC VHO, AND (1) 110W. REEFSUN VHO. Lifereef skimmer, and lighted calurpa sump.

The softy tank has a oceanlight with (2)250w. AB DE 20k's and (2)54w. geismann actinc blue T5's,Lifereef skimmer, and lighted calurpa sump.

I think alot of the trouble I had with the hair algea came from the Live Sand and the miricle mud both retaining nutrients over a long period of time. This time I am setting at least 1 if not both tanks barebottom to try to resolve the issues.

I'll post some macros of my corals here in the next couple days.
