Noticed this on my female clown today and am looking for help. I did have a popeye on an anthias several months ago that passed away, my tank has vermatid snails and at the time and I attributed it to that.
I've had this fish for almost 4 years. No new fish added since the anthias maybe 9 months ago (a pair that went through QT). She's still active, eating, loving her torch. There's popeye, and a white fleshy portion... not sure if that's the injury site or something else. Other eye is totally fine. No other fish have any issues currently. No other signs of injury to body, fins, etc. No head shakes. No one beats on her, she's the queen of the tank.
There are vermatid snails near her torch that she could've easily hit. I'm hesitant to remove her from tank and start abx as I don't want to stress her out unnecessarily. She pretty much stays in the torch all day/night.
Any thoughts? Thanks!
