Eye thing on tail spot blenny

Hello, any idea what’s going on here or what to do? I was thinking it was a parasite but not sure now seeing better pictures. I haven’t been able to catch him yet either. Any suggestions are appreciated.

The other eye is normal and it’s behavior is normal.

Looks kinda like a flatworm attached right behind the eye. How long has it been there?

That’s actually a good possibility. He lives in an area where there is a lot of those.

They attach to anything and everything, I used tweezers to remove about 500 off frags they are annoying. Going to grab a wrasse to hopefully eat them.

After having no luck catching this little guy I decided to monitor it since it wasn’t identified as something horrible.

It’s gone now. There’s a little spot where it was but there is no protrusion and no noticeable damage. I’m still going with it being a feather duster and it’s fallen off.

More than likely it was. And the mark should eventually go away.
