I just had a thought. I use this stuff and works great but don't like the white. What do you all think about putting red food coloring into the mix so it will blend in with the environment? I am going to try it.

Why not just break the white crust off a while after its done its work and not worry about adding other chemicals to the tank? Seems like a better approach as who knows what red food coloring does to a reef tank.

I also find it will pick up corraline over time so may take care of it self.

Who knows how long the aiptasia can survive covered. The stuff hardens and does not mix well in the aquarium then, so the food grade food coloring should not harm anything. I will try it and let you know.
