F Aptasia and PH

I'm trying to find the culprit... As you can see by the graph there was a big jump in PH. At the time of the jump I did two things. One was turn on the fan (right beside the tank) which blows in outside air to the inside, and the other was about 3 syringes full of F-Aptasia. Normally I have the fan on all day at the lowest setting but when I got home the fan was running reversed so I was pushing air from inside to outside. When the spike happened I reversed the fan blowing air inside and at the highest setting. Usually with fan on low I creep up to about 8.1-8.2 at the highest peak and down to 7.67 at the lowest.
