Faded/dull looking z/p

So some of my zoas are very dull with no color. What can be the cause of this. I have had the same led light for awhile on different tanks and never had this problem before. Can my tank be too clean? I do get algea growth though. I also feed fuel about 3× a week plus all the food for fish. What are some things i can try to fix this.

I had that happen one time and it was an alk swing. Another time I added too much magnesium and all my zoas looked very dull.
