Since you added the (degassing) second stage:

Do you still feel like you need a bigger / main chamber / for your calcium reactor?

Thanks Freddie. Glad to hear from you, we kinda missed you here.

Yes, I wish I went with a bigger one. the reactor now is barely keeping up with the demand, the good thing that corals are growing like weeds. the dosing pumps still ready anytime to dose if needed.

Life just gets busy and I like to be on other forums other than builds too.
I have to catch up to the builds on weekends, but all is good.

Do you think that you go with a bigger stage one (down the road) or dose with your cal reactor that you have, for the long haul?

If you use the dosing pumps, will it be kalk?

For Now I'll stick with the current calcium reactor. for the dosing pumps i'll go with 2 parts down the road, I already have around 8 pounds of calcium, carbonate and Magnesium.

Sadly but aquarium related long trim plans is not possible for me in Saudi Arabia. there is a strong possibility to move back home to Jordan, wife and kids already moved to live in Jordan.
That's why me and my brother re-started the old 50 gallons, that I posted photo of it in previous post, so I can move some of my favorite live stock.

And yes adding the second stage helped a little with tank PH. but not like with 2 parts when it was 8.2 - 8.3. who cares for PH ! most importing that the corals likes the calcium reactor more and there is no need to worry about filling the dosing container while I am traveling.

Another fish death

, this time it is the male coral beauty . he was one of my favorite fish in the tank.
So suddenly I cam home to see this fish bloating and can't swim. I am thinking that he was eating from a clam that was dying due to shipping stress. looks like the clam was bad for him. next day he was dead.
