My Ecotech Marine Vectra L1 has failed. I have three (3) of these pumps, over 2 yrs. old.
The magnet has un-bonded from the impeller shaft.
The magnet was frozen to the housing. I soaked it in Vinegar for 30 min. and it came out, finally.
Looking through the forums it seems to be a overheating issue that may have caused this.
My question is where do I find a impeller, shaft, magnet assembly for this Vectra L1 pump ?

Even though you are outside of ETM's warranty, I would still call them.
Sounds like your problem is a little different than most.
Call, be polite, know exactly what you need to say in advance and see if they will help.

Impeller assembly overhearing was a chronic problem with early versions of the large vectra. There was a running change to the assembly so perhaps ETM has them available to sell. Other option would be to see if you can find used or parts on eBay.

Well, I will never be able to collect on a warranty. I Destroyed the ceramic impeller shaft when I was trying to remove the assembly from the motor housing. But I am still looking for a replacement impeller, magnet, shaft assembly. I did look into E-bay, but was it was a dead end. I am unable to locate any Ecotech Marine Vectra L1 parts. I sent a e-mail now I will wait.
