Fair price to sell hammer?

Hello,

I dont ever sell coral and I have more of this hammer then I can keep and need to sell some. Can you guys give me an idea of a fair price range to sell this at locally? I may sell some by the head but I will likely sell it in 5 to 10 head clonies bc its easier for me. I took these pics with my phone under normal lights. Mostly green tips, but some splatter like with a lot of subtle color in the stem ranging from tan, to green, and blue and some purple.

Locally for me hammer will quickly sell for $25-$35/head. Small colonies I don’t see why you couldn’t get $100-$200+ depending on number of heads

I agree with the prices above. somewhere like 20-40 a head. Then I would post multiple heads and offer a discount to make it easier with you

$20 to $40 per head sounds good depending on your location. Discounts on colonies is also the way to go.

This is going to vary. By me- $15-$20 per head and private seller- $10-15 per head

Thanks guys. I have had this coral for probably 15 years and I had no idea what to sell it for. I don't want to rip anyone off but I also don't want to give it away either. I probably have 6 or 7 colonies beyond my main colony that have 7 to 10 heads each on them. I want to add more diversity to my tank. Thanks again.

Scope out your local forum, Offerup, Craigslist, Facebook, etc. See what they are selling for the same type of hammer and sell yours for around the same price.

You can either go parallel on pricing or if you really want that coral then you can undervalue yours.

if you are trading, I would value everything at retail price. (yours and theirs) Just to make it fair apples to apples. And like above, if there is something you want. You can try to cut a deal.
