Hi Folks,

Fairy Wrasse got up to the intake grates on my Nano tank. Took a few days but seems back to everyday normal swimming and eating. Question though, is there any treatment for the remaining damage to the side?? See image below (best I could get) if it is not clear enough I could try to get a better shot.

Thank you !

Watch for secondary infections.

May need antibiotics.

Often a weak fish is one that will end up in a powerhead but assuming not the case, While this can and should heal on its own, you can safely add ruby Rally pro to assist in healing and prevention of infection which is safe to use with coral and inverts.

Good advice above. My concern was also that getting stuck was a result, and not a cause.

Correct, this is not the case. She (we flipped a coin) somehow decide to explore the area behind the outlet of the filter where the intake is. I over did the filter size, thought I could protect her. I need to get a ball valve and dial it down a bit. I also put foam across so, should be good.
thank you!
