Is this a common disease among fairy wrasse i have seen it on a few fish. Basically the flesh near there mouth turns white and they seem to lose it. I recently picked up a red margin fairy and it looks like his lips are slightly like this. Is there a name for this disease and what is the best treatment?

I wouldn't call this a common issue amongst most genera of wrasses, but typically this is a secondary bacterial infection which sets in after the mouth becomes damaged in transit. Treatment in a hospital tank with antibiotics is the best course of action.
