Fairy wrasse with a bulging eye (popeye)

Will kanaplex do well for treating Popeye? I believe it is due to injury. I introduced 2 wrasses from QT last Monday and they were getting harrased pretty constant after releasing from the acclimation box. The pink face wrasse is doing good and holding his own but the pink margin never could get settled in. After the third day it managed to jump into the overflow box and my wife and I had tried netting him out a couple times with no luck. Today I was going to siphon him out but he apparently made his way to the sump on his own last night or this morning. After retrieving from the sump I noticed one of his eyes popped out and a little bit of tail fin missing (looks to have been from the other fish nipping). I took him back to QT to treat and get ready for reintroduction.

Will kanaplex do the job?
Should I medicate at all or just leave it to heal on its own?
I have focus to bind the kanaplex to food or would it be best to treat the water for this type of injury?
He is pretty skittish so pics are pretty hard to get but here is what I was able to capture:

I like to combine Kanaplex and neoplex for eye issues.

A bath in Methalyne Blue or acriflavine may also be beneficial prior to starting meds.

All I have on hand is the kanaplex and focus. Also Prazi pro and copper power but those are of no use here. With only having the kanaplex would it be better to treat the water or bind with focus to food (I tried feeding a little earlier but there isn't much of a feeding response and I don't know if he'll eat).

You will be better off treating the water. This is external issue. I'd start the Kanaplex and order neoplex.

I’d also suggest some Epsom salt (pure organic no scented version) at 1 TBS per 5 gallons. You can do this two to three times.

It will help relieve some swelling until the medication does it’s thing.

This just happened to my flasher, hit the net cover hard, I didn't think anything of it, the next day he didn't come out to eat I figured he was lost. Two days later while moving everything to new tank I found him with an eye injury like yours has. He's been hiding alot but 2 weeks later his eye is almost back to normal, he's out flashing more like he used to. No meds just selcom and garlic mixed with food.

I thought about leaving him but felt that he needed to be strong before reintroduction. The state he was in after being in the overflow for several days then sliding through the pvc drain to the sump was pretty weak. After catching him in the sump I dumped him back into the DT before noticing the eye and was able to catch him out of there without much effort. Didn't have to move a thing. Felt he could use a few days at the spa to recover.

I use selcon daily. I have garlic but don't use it unless new fish aren't eating.

You can dose the epsom salt directly into your HT. It's basically just magnesium. It's kind of a strange phenomenon, since magnesium is already present in a SW Aquarium. For whatever reason it does frequently help with eye issues.
