Nice wrasses. I'll soon be int he market for a few bipartitus and meleagris... I love the leopards.

Where are you guys picking up these amazing wrasses from?

I had a leopard wrasse who was great, but he found a new home when I moved. The current owner is still very happy with him though.

Nice! Wrasse have always been one of my favorite kinds, only have the Redfin Fairy right now.

thanks everyone.. I got addicted to them when I upgraded to my 75g... I had to sell a HI Flame, Lineatus, Golden Rhomboid, Condei, Blue Flasher, and some others when I tore it down.. they are the only fish in my tank besides a purple firefish, which I wished I could've waited for a pair of Helfrich...

Pair of Helfrich's wowzers!

since I have a small tank, I have to be more selective on what I put on it.. I've learned much since I started.. I use to buy anything I think is nice but now, I try to limit myself on what I put on the 32g.. :)

also, I've learned that it's better to just trade with fellow reefers as I've done quite a few this season.. :D

Liveaquaria.com has a divers den section and they always get beautiful wrasses. Both fairy and flasher wrasses. Plus liveaquaria doesn't give you a problem if the fish croaks in the first two weeks you just call em up and bam they give your money back or store credit. No hassle no bs. I love liveaquaria and hands down the best online selection and everything

But that's not what I wanted to ask. What I wanted to ask is if my hooded fairy wrasse is turning male. I've had her for almost a year and she was like the size of a quarter when I got her from my LFS who sold me her as an anthias, after a year she's huge and her top fin is turning black kinda and so is her back edge of her tail. If she is I hope she turns beautiful like yours in that pic up their. I'm gonna try and take a pic for y'ally'all

And yea I let algae grow on my back side of tank. Yea I know it looks dirty but I promise my nitrates stay so low they never register sometimes after a heavy feed for all the corals and the wrasse and snowflake morray the nitrates will spike to maybe 10 ppm but that rarely happens maybe once or twice a year. And I sware it's because of my back glass being allowed to grow whatever algae it wants. Because if you knew how much I feed my nitrates should be off the charts.
