Fallow Period and Pods

So I recently discovered Ich in my tank (rookie mistake didn't QT). I ve started the QT process of with the fish, DT is 10 days into Fallow period, yesterday I noticed a explosion in Pods. Should I have any concerns with this? Will they over run the tank? I currently only have hermits and various snails as my CUC. Is there any inverts I can add as a Predator to keep them in check.

Normal. They will self balance depending on how much food you feed the tank. Don't stop feeding though.

The pods will snack on a little of your detritus, a bit of algae here and there, they'll help provide interest while the tank is otherwise fairly empty . . . and when your fish return, it is _on_!

The fish will love hunting and feasting on the 'pods.

That's a valid point... guess it would be a nice feast to come home too!
