Fallow period coming to an end.!!!

September 22nd I CANNOT WAIT I’m tired of seeing my fish in small tanks with artificial decor.

God willing ich has been eradicated from my DT as it will of been 80 days.
Only issue is my fish still have ich, (I’m pretty sure it has ich) I am doing a tank transfer on my blue tang AGAIN. But properly this time; in a completely different room and have seperate equipment for each 60L tub which will air dry in between transfers.
To test my DT I will get fresh water mollies in the sump and watch for any white spots.
If I see any white spots on them; watch this space anyone from East London UK as I’m done I can’t deal with it again.
Any advise or tips pls let me know

I was just thinking about that with my system. Standard TTM should take care of ich, but will not address velvet. Perhaps you have a less lethal strain of velvet and it keeps slipping through your TTM? For velvet, gotta got to transfer every 36 hours instead of 3 days, or use copper or CP.

It has to be ich the fish has had it for 2 months; I’ve tried copper twice no success my hanna checker doesn’t even work, did TTM once all fish were clear of any signs then once in the hospital tank my blue tang got it again and has had it ever since

Not to be a jerk but keeping an ich free tank is difficult. All it takes is one new fish to have it after thinking you performed TTM or copper properly. I see more reefers kill fish with copper than save them. I know a local reefer that practically lives in the fish store constantly lecturing people on making sure they QT but yet he is always there buying new fish because he kills them on accident trying to prevent ich in his tank. The dude probably has had his display tank up for 3 years now and I think he has done like 5 fallow cycles to the point his display has hardly ever seen fish.

In the last 12 years I have had several fish show signs of ich after QT thinking I did everything right and it's always the blue/powder blue tangs. Eventually I stopped worrying about it, fed them with selcon soaked foods and have not seen it since. My blue tang is closing in on 7 years old and is just massive (my powder blue is almost as old and big). In my opinion, ich is not the killer people make it out to be...velvet is the one I worry about.
