My 150g got wiped out due to Velvet a few months back. I neglected the system for too long(bummed out about dead fish) but now the corals are suffering.
I've been doing water changes recently to get the parameters back to check. But the corals aren't opening up like I hoped. I've been feeding the tank daily to keep the anemone and cuc alive.
What else can I do for the next month or so until the new fish come out of QT.

current parameters
CA 430
DKH 7.9
MAG 1350
PHOS 0.05
NO3 0
PH 8.0
TEMP 78

I use to add Marine Melafix to my tank every thime I get new corals or fish, PLUS..it is reef safe. It helps me a lot, cure my fish from any unwanted parasites, same for corals, lot of my corals came back from dying and star growing on next couple days, just make sure to remove any fikter media when using, bottle says that you have to use it for 7 days, but 4 or 5 days works for me

Awesome thanks! I'll check it out now.
I just need more patience and do things right this time.

Can we some of the corals ?
And I'm having a hard time with the 0 no3. Esp if you are feeding it

What are you feeding the corals and nem?

hopefully the reef roids will help!

I'd toss a cube of frozen food in there.
I have to do that in my coral qt. If I don't . Stuff dies.

I've practiced killing corals in it.
Monti and birdsnest then
Xenia go go fastest, then zoas n palys and then gsp.
That's all I've tested with so far.
