Dont think its worth mentioning but my iron was also very high if that could mean anything.

well I was able to get a reading I find to be more accurate after re cleaning the vials I tested and it read .12 used the same clean vial but this time used a syringe filter and it read .06. So its safe to say the particles in the tank are what's causing the high reading. Now to try and figure out what these particulates actually are. Any guidance is really appreciated.
