fan for T5?

I have one of those cheap china T5s that I am using for my frag tank in my basement in my fish room.

I think it would be a good idea to add a fan to it. I was thinking maybe one on each side?

The light is a 8 bulb 48 inch.

I was just thinking of adding 2 of these clip on fans from amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Genesis-6-In...words=clip+on+fan&refinements=p_85:2470955011

Thoughts? These will not be in a hood or anything.

to cool the fixture is what I was thinking

I honestly wouldn’t sweat it.

Unless you can know and control the bulb temp (to save and increase burn time ), it’s not that worth it.

Kinda the same with the ballast , unless you know the output you may not be getting as much par , intensity, and heat as somthing like an ati fixture.
