I am planning on building a led/t-5 fixture later on but have couple of questions before i put the list together. Has anyone ever use CPU air cooler fan into your fixture? if so how did you incorporate into ur build? Did you have to make a plate or heatsink for the led to attach to the bracket cooler? I am using full array multi led chip. Thanks

We are using Zalman cnps2x

and Arctic Alpine 11

if you LED array quite big, you should look for AMD processors heatsink, Intel's heatsinks usually smaller.

Good option (but heavy) is Dynatron G199

It depends mostly on how well you match the heat dissipation needs to the size of the heatsink. In my DIY LED fixture it was only necessary to run one fan which pulled air across the entire fixture. The heatsinks never really got much beyond noticeably warmer than ambient.

i really like tht led board. I am getting some few idea how i want my next build thanks
