Walt Disney
Very nice Ty! Is that all the flow the Walt Disney gets? Seems like very little.

Oh no, when I take pics or videos, I usually turn the flow off. That’s just return flow there.Very nice Ty! Is that all the flow the Walt Disney gets? Seems like very little.

I’ll give it a try. It’s hard holding that camera steady with a giant look down tube around it when the flow is going. Any small movement is greatly emphasized when shooting close in. That’s the main reason I shut them off.Thats what I figured. I wish more people took videos with all the flow on so we could see how much flow and what type of flow SPS are getting. If you can take a video like that, I would love to see that.
I know people say you can't give SPS too much flow if its varied but I find that to be flawed.

Who'd you get this from? I have a piece that looks identical
Buddy locally in Austin. It was a wild aussie piece from 3-4 years ago.Who'd you get this from? I have a piece that looks identical
It’s the truth! I’m boxing them up as we speak!Your spending far too much time playing in your farm tanks. Just wrap all that stuff up and send it to me and I'll get it out of the way so you can focus on your display....glad to help you out.....no thanks needed........just offering to help out another reefer...................The display looks great, who we kidding?
Haha, I told Cody I felt like I crashed the party and then ran off. It felt like quite the “Richard” move afterwards. Wife in the driveway with two kids makes you do weird things.Looking good! I also enjoyed the impromtu "Cribs" tour on Marsh. Tell your wife I definitely appreciate her patience.
So what corals are graduating to the display? What's more important when moving up: size or long term potential?
I was pretty close to getting a frag of dragonfruit from you. At least I know I'm not crazy for thinking it looks awesome.Haha, I told Cody I felt like I crashed the party and then ran off. I’m still deciding but for sure TSA Bill Murray, BC Backdraft, and TSA Dragonfruit. They passed the looks good from 5’ away test.
I think a local had it in Orlando and sold the colony to TSA. They named it and I’m going to guess lost it. I got my piece from Bubba as he knew the local with it. Which reminds me, TSA wanted to trade with me to get it back.I was pretty close to getting a frag of dragonfruit from you. At least I know I'm not crazy for thinking it looks awesome.
Any history on that one? I only see one other place on the Internets that has it (and it's not TSA)

Thank you and not a bad idea.

Ditched denitrator and Biopellets so going wild wild west with nitrates right now. Just skimmer, Gfo, carbon.
I do water changes now to the tune of 25% every couple months to inoculate my backup system with my old tank water and to remove detritus buildup in the frag tanks.
Yes. I use it on all my tanks. A little goes a long way with that stuff. On 330 total volume, I use about 1-1.5 cups every month.Do you run ROX carbon on all your tanks? I have always had negative results when I tried it but it seems so many people use it.
How much do you use for your tanks? Also, are your DT and frag tanks connected?

I have two frag tanks connected to my display and two frag tanks independently run.
