Thanks! I've always wanted a semifasciatus but they are impossible to locate. It was actually on my stock list but we couldn't ever find one. I'm afraid adding it now will just be inhumane... That other 5 angels may not take well to another angel at this point.Man Beautiful Tank , and sweet Angels, I am an Angel lover too !!
Have you ever considered adding few Genicanthus angels ?
Those beauties are destined for RCA, the LFS they originated from. But I did frag a couple more to start coloring up under lower par. They get that amazing green infected look with some oranges when placed under lower par. My colony at 450 par is mostly red... Need to move that thing.Hopefully one of them has my name on it
It wouldn't hurt my feelings if you never showed one of these again. Sigh... ;FacepalmAlright, that was a lot of posts without a single picture of a coral. My apologies! I won't let it happen again! Please take these pictures of RCA Baton Rouge frags as offerings of my sincerest apologies.

I don't think they will care about the semifasciatus, swimming habits and body shape are different , mine usually swimming near the surface. also I added it to tank fully stocked with angels. Thanks! Ohhh nice! I was hoping they would leave the semifasciatus alone. I might give it a try if I can locate one. It made me sad that I wasn't able to add it with the original stock. Thanks for the firsthand account!I don't think they will care about the semifasciatus, swimming habits and body shape are different , mine usually swimming near the surface. also I added it to tank fully stocked with angels.
When I First Added her, the Emperor Didn't Care at all, centropyges harassed her for few days but then it stopped. few fights with other female lamarck. so I added other 2 Genicanthus , watanabei and melanospilos.
And no issues for 10 months. suddenly last month hell broke lose between the semifasciatus and lamarck, I think both of them want to turn males. so I removed the lamark.

LOL never, your thread is too full of awesome... I'll just add it to my coral bucket list. Who knows... maybe one of these days I'll have something you really want too.Aw man. Right when I clicked to post, I saw that you had just liked a comment! I was like... He's going to hate me. [emoji17]

I bet it can go with even less light but maybe just keep it where its at now and if it doesn't get green in it within a month, then move to lower par. I forget how long it took before mine showed the infected green look.Mine is starting to look pretty with the nice deep velvety purple/red, but no green yet. I can’t decide if I have it in too much or too little light. My Confetti woke up dead yesterday, which was right next to it.![]()
What % do you have the Radion set to Ty?
I want everything! Gotta catch them all! [emoji16]LOL never, your thread is too full of awesome... I'll just add it to my coral bucket list. Who knows... maybe one of these days I'll have something you really want too.![]()
Seriously? Your chips is still alive? It's the worst shipper ever and it survived over the Confetti? That's why I threw it in as a freebie just to try. Wow! That's like 2 Chips ever that made it alive and stayed alive! Well done!I think rising phosphates is the issue too. I made 2 big changes in a month, which is against my rule of One At a Time. New lights, heavier feeding. I ordered a new Po test kit which should be here today. I don’t want to jinx it, but my Chips is looking great, and the Walt is the happiest of the bunch.
My frag tank is 10" deep but my Radions are mounted 22" high. I'll take some readings and maybe you can extrapolate on your readings. What % do you run yours? And what program?I have no idea on the par readings. There was a guy in town with a meter, but he lost it. My frag tank is 12” high with the Radion 14” off the water, so I’ve been searching for someone with a similar setup that has posted actual PAR measurements.
