That's a recycled pic. I was hoping nobody paid attention... I've posted it once before. [emoji17]

That's under blues. I know you're a white light guy.

Giant Colorado Sunburst Anemone!
Funny quote from my wife that imo exemplifies how differently our spouses tend to view things in the hobby:

Me: "Hey honey, look how beautiful this anemone is."

My wife: "I dont like it. It looks like something inside the human body"

Haha, well cut me open if there's one of these in me!

May I ask for another pic update? I’d like to see your angry birds if possible.
All my tenuis are junk right now Bubba. The high TDS in my top off water oddly only killed 3 tenuis and made the rest of the tenuis decline in polyp extension and their flesh really thin.

I'm starting to see some recovery but it was interesting to note how crazy all tenuis reacted in my system to the high TDS water while most other acros... Other than some loss of color, were mainly unaffected.

I actually moved it under the Radions a couple weeks ago... Figured while it was healing... Maybe I can super color it as well!

That’s a total bummer. Its crazy how touchy acros can be. With how finicky they are, I probably need a new hobby as my mood totally depends on how my corals are looking and with my issue lately I’ve been grumpy, lol.

I hear you. I was a tad grumpy myself the last couple months... Why I probably went on an anemone picture snapping craze... And why I probably subconsciously bought a bounce mushroom to compensate. [emoji23] What have I done!? [emoji17]

Maybe you just need a bounce mushroom too... Like a coping mechanism when our acros make us grumpy. [emoji1]

Bubba - based on our talk today, this reminds me of a passage I have memorized...

"You ready to blow?! Then I'm a mushroom-cloud layin' mother******! Every time my corals turn white, I'm Supafly TNT!!!"

86% AB+ with red and green bumped up to 30, 12 hour total cycle with no extra storm or weather stuff. Thanks Ty
Alright,

18" off water surface, readings about 4" into the water where possible. Readings taken with Apogee MQ 210. Two G4 Radion Pros set at 90% AB+ Special with greens and reds at 30%. Tank 48" x 24" x 10".

300 par in the middle of the two fixtures
250 par 12" from center to front and back of tank
250 directly under single fixtures
175-200 on left and right edges of 48" tank

I should probably stop aiming a torch at corals until the batteries run out and look at lighting in a touch more detail! ;)

Tried a new lab for my ICP results. I have been using Triton annually to monitor trends. My local club bought a bunch of test kits from ICP-analysis.com at a discounted rate and I couldn't pass up a $20 ICP test... Plus one located in the States.

Here are my results.

As a reminder, I don't do systematic water changes... Only if something comes up... Such as an overdose or if I dosed a chemical and instructions advise for a water change... Like chemiclean or something.... Or if I stupidly dumped 84 TDS topoff water in my tank for 2 months. [emoji17]

Anyways, I don't usually make changes according to any results but I've been low on Boron for a long time now and supposedly it is beneficial to gonis... Which all of mine sre in terrible shape after the TDS debacle so I figured... Why not dose some.

So this happened...

Thanks Ty - I was about the same at a few inches under the water. I used a Seneye a couple of days ago and had similar results minus 50, on 90%, fixture 12" over the surface, measurements 8" under the water with the flow moving as normal. The Baton Rouge at 175 close to the edge. I have heard mixed reviews of the Seneye...

You got it!

Ah, now we know your secret. You pet and cuddle your anemones too. That's why they are so happy and healthy. I thought it was just good water parameters and light.
At night I bag them up and put them in bed with me. I usually call dibs for little spoon. [emoji4]
