CC Habanero Anacropora - growth form has greatly changed in the higher flow. I reduced the flow in this portion of the tank so hopefully it goes back to the smoother texture.

I just checked DHL overnight to Australia and it asked for a deposit of my 1st born son. Maybe next time? [emoji16]

I saw your new photos on the thread. I remain more and more fascinated by the wonderful colors of your acropores. How do you keep certain colors? Is it due to the light I have water parameters? Do you think it is important to keep nitrates and phosphates at a detectable level is what do you think this level is?

Hi Peppe,

Best combination I found for colors is stable parameters, lots of fish poop (I have a ton of fish), feed your tank an absurd amount of food, nitrates in the 5-25 ppm range, phosphates below 0.08 ppm, and a decent amount of par (most receive around 300 average).

What’s your placement for Peng starry night? Thanks

Corals looking great Ty, as usual!

Back-tracking a little bit, this one looks a lot like my “blue matrix”.
I was gutted when I lost my blue spat

Here it is in all its fame

I think it is actually a tenuis, but I could be wrong. I have mine a the tippy-top of my tank.

Edit. Just checked, it’s a Hoeksemai... not a tenuis.

Not the best picture, it was under blues during a water change lol but, you get the idea....

Thank you! And great looking blue matrix!
This thread is as entertaining as a Paul B. Thread.
Jim
I think he's a tad more witty but I'll work on it! [emoji6] Thank you Jim!

... sorry catching up, you know the first kidney got me the trachy, what is my second kidney being tempted with?
... do I really need a kidney, thought I'd better check? ;)
If kidneys look this good under T5s, I get it if you keep yours. Otherwise, bring on the corals. Who needs a kidney? Show me the corals!

Great; in your opinion which is the best light to get these colors and give the right par? how many and which t5 and how many and which led do you use? at what height from the water surface?
