FarmerTy's 215-gallon SPS Tank

I remember the old photo of the jolt, love how it’s shaping up!
Thanks! It actually has a pretty giant branch on the right side that sprouted but the coral in front and my camera angle cut it off.

My Jackson’s rainbow is to me at least is just a blue tenuis I have never gotten any color besides blue out of it

Mine came in admittedly from the seller as not colored up. It was barely even blue. Seeing the blue come in and now some red is exciting.

Catching up. Amazing colors
Don’t worry. I’ve been a little slow the past two weeks so you shouldn’t have too much to catch up. Toddler and newborn combo beating me up!

How do you remember the names of everything?
Half of them I make up to keep people from asking what the names are. ;)

I write them on the bottom of the tile. But really, I push out less useful things to remember like when I got married or the birthdate of my children and reserved those memory slots for coral names.

Tips are usually bright green with a light blue base under bluer lights. My T5 spectrum lighting this colony is almost 10k spectrum.

Does your bubblegum show much green on the tips (doesn't appear so from this pic)? Mine only has one or two branches that really shows green.

edit: this frag came from you awhile ago

That firecracker ain't half bad, it's not a calamity, but not too shabby.
It’s probably one of my favorite pieces in the tank. In real life, bright blood red, bright green polyps, and white growth tips.

That Walt Disney’s looking good, and looking like it’s ready for some food.
Fish poop is on the menu this evening.

How much for a calamity?
For you, $2k, because you’ll make me hold it until 2022 before shipping. :p

It’s been mostly stalled 2019 but seems to have picked up the growth this year. I’ll probably grow it out and then share pictures of the colony daily to lord over others and never share it to make up for the empty spot in my heart because I didn’t get hugged enough as a child.
