I just got caught up on the thread it has been too long. Congrats on the new kid. As always, you have some fantastic corals. But you are right; the pictures do not do your tank justice. Thank you for all the great content. I love following your thread; I don't know how you find the time with a newborn.

I don’t. That’s why my pictures come in batches. There’s the rare occasion my kids go down early to bed and I pull out the camera. I take exactly 1000 pictures and then slowly post those throughout the year. It’s like a star and the light you see from it. I don’t even have a tank anymore but you’re still seeing my bright light shining.

I usually do maintenance in the wee hours of the night when everybody is asleep. This doesn’t get me excused for when the baby wakes up in the middle of the night but I the price I pay to keep my tank still and even post about it.

Hey Ty, quick question. What T5 bulb combo are you running over your display. I know you have posted it somewhere in this massive thread, but I can't seem to find it.

Just curious as I am getting ready to order bulbs for my new tank build that will be running an 8 bulb sunpower. I like the look of your tank so I figured I would ask.

Have a crisp 12k color with sand that was actually white white.

My frag tank pictures are all under aquatic life hybrid fixtures with Radion G4 pros and 2 blue + and 2 actinic bulbs.

King Bubba @bubbaque reminded me that I swapped out my T5 fixture over my display for Radions and T5 supplements beginning of this year. Can’t remember if I posted about it though. Just had the second kid so things are hazy.

Thanks for taking the time to answer even though you don't run the T5 fixture anymore. You definitely ran a non-conventional mix. Is the reason you only ran 2 B+ bulbs the SBreef actinic bars that you ran?

The right rock structure is the same in my current tank. I just pulled it over. Haha.

I just swapped out bulbs until I liked the color. It would be super yellow 10k ish if not for the sbreef bars for sure. I prefer whiter though than most I would say.
