I often wonder how important it is to have so many different ingredients. When I started the hobby a long time ago the fish seemed perfectly healthy on pellets and mysis. I think we care about our fish more than ourselves some times

Every time I go to Costco I eye up that frozen seafood pack.

It took me like a month to get through this thread, from start to end it’s been awesome! Your acro collection is one of the best I‘ve seen. I appreciate all the info and experience you’ve shared, for someone that is fairly new to reefing it’s priceless.

How often do you replace your GFO and carbon? Do you run carbon every other week or just have it running constantly in a reactor or bag? Why carbon and not purigen?

I'm having a problem to keep nitrate up and mine is nearly 0. How do you keep your nitrate at 25ppm?

I replace Gfo and carbon biweekly. They both go in a reactor. I like ROX carbon.
