FarmerTy's 215-gallon SPS Tank

Do you have plans to sell any of those 30+ jawbreakers?

So I left the RO/DI on over night and somehow the float valve failed me to stop it in the reservoir so now the salinity in my backup system is 1.019. o_O

I’ll be back to my regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. Got some fires to put out.

Good luck!!

All is well folks. Besides a damp floor... nothing even looks like it felt any effect from it. I’ve been slowly raising the salinity throughout the day and am back at 1.024 right now with just a little bit to go. Thanks for all the well wishes!

Can someone please tell me how to post a GIF

@FarmerTy - if it helps , this has happened to me a couple of times and both the times I was able to catch it immediately and rectify the situation within 24 hrs . As long as you have brought up the salinity to where it was originally , I doubt there’s any harm done . I believe acros are generally a little slow to react and given you rectified it immeditaly, they might not even realize the difference .

Haha, the peanut gallery on here cracks me up!

@Abhishek Yeah, I did exactly that and didn’t see any ill effects on anything. Figured a more timely response was better than trying to too slowly bring it back up.

Got some new toys from Building An Obsession.

I’m loving how clean it looks, that my frags can’t spin loosely anymore and sting each other, and I could only imagine less algae growth on the racks themselves since they are smooth acrylic. Worth every penny over the eggcrate.
