Any way of dealing with this? Been trying to manually remove some here and there and it is spreading. I believe my silicon has been testing high, so would imagine that’s why? Should I run some Phosguard or something like that? Planning on getting another DI canister for silicates on my filter system, if needed.

if the output is 0 TDS, the issue isn't the rodi setup.

Also, thats just some film algae on the glass. Every tank has it.
I’ve read several places that silicates can register as 0 on a TDS meter.

Im not talking about the film algae. As the title states, and picture shows (in between zoa polyps), I have a white sponge rapidly growing in my system.

This.

oop, confused this for another thread i'm in. Sorry!

If it starts bothering the corals, you can use a toothbrush and siphon to remove it.

Also, was not aware of that about silicates.

Silicates are a good place to start looking for what's enabling their growth:
If there’s a high level of silicates and a sufficient amount of food for the sponges (including things like Dissolved Organic Matter, bacteria, phytoplankton, and some Particulate Organic Matter), then you may see a population boom with sponges.
