Got my live rock from KPaquatics yesterday and I was thoroughly impressed with it. The only hitchhiker I can’t ID is this really fast yellow worm that was cruising around the tank today. Any idea what it is? Managed to suck it into a coral feeder. 32B3443B-BD15-4F8A-82E8-64BBC0D97796.jpeg 6C2C675E-24E4-4910-A72C-44B55359C8C8.jpeg

It’s freaky how fast he was in the tank. He has 4 tendrils on his face if that helps any one.
You don't usually see worms this color. They're either muted trying to blend in with their surroundings or displaying bright red as a big "FU" to any would be predators.

Seems to be a color morph of Eulalia viridis (according to the site where that picture is pulled from), which is a detritivore - it's part of the clean up crew.
Guess I’ll be adding him back to the tank instead of letting my wrasse have a second breakfast.

CUC or not I would be disturbed.. especially if it wasn't my intention to put one in.

He went straight under a rock when I added him back. Hopefully he comes out again.
What happened with this worm. Seen multiple cases lately of similar hitchhikers from kp rocks. Was it friend or foe?
