so I got a algae blenny a couple of weeks ago and a couple days into having it I noticed its belly swelled up. Iv been digging around the Internet looking for a answer but see a lot of mixed opinions on what it is or why it's happening and they are all rather old theads. So any input is greatly appreciated, it honestly appears like the blenny has swallowed a marble at times. Iv read it could just be over eating or a infection but it seems completely healthy, it eats all the time, flake food, nori, algae so it's diet is pretty well balanced. All perametors are stable and everything seems happy.

By the end of the day it's belly is usually larger than it is in the pics.

-that- right there is what the last six algae problem tankers needed

They had reefs where the Gha was in patches on the sand, maybe just 2-3 places on the rock

Not on the glass, or covering each surface (nutrient problems contact every surface underwater, true eutrophication is large scale)

Their tank was a full hands off method (debatable in totally sep threads, cause of all algae problems etc lol) and just those select patches/eyesores remained day after day despite all current controls

they were posting about po4 stripping further (bleaching risk, not indicated action) but we tell them get a grazer do what nature does. Your po4 is good or you'd be dealing with fifty patches.

If someone can't find a busy fish to do the right cleanup, then hand do it. Apparently that fish above stays busy

At first i thought this post was by @brandon429 lol but the picture took away the confusion...

That blenny is full and doing a fine job. I bet his belly is slightly less just after the lights turn on.

It does actually look skinnier in the morning. Not a ton skinnier but by the end of each day it's belly is was bigger than in the pictures. By back to that in the morning. I just didn't think they could store that much food lol.
