So I was just observing my tank and my female clown is fat as she's swimming fine and eats like a pig, the male was so skinny when I got him but hes a healthy weight now. Could she be hosting eggs? She's only about 2" long now is she old enough to lay eggs? And if it was could I leave the eggs in the tank and still have them hatch without my CB angel or cuc eating them? Is it possibly bloat? As I said she looks healthy and eats/swims perfectly. Its not letting me attach a pic... Sorry

Hi! Can’t tell you if ahe’s pregnant without a picture. Although hatching clownfish requires special conditions and will not be possible in your main tank. They require q higher temperature and a special kind of living food that you will have to provide them. As they are only able to eat that.

Read about it on google and see if you are interested to try!

good luck

Females will be 2x bigger than males.
If you are feeding well (live foods are good for this) she will lay eggs.
There is about a 0% chance fry will live once hatched.
You would have to feed them and a lot of other things. You can look at the fish breeding section for more info on tank set up for raising clowns
