10 days ago I added this panther to my set.it has spent the week mostly hiding. He’s been spending time swimming around yesterday and most of the day today. I’m not familiar with the habits of this fish but it swims awkwardly and nose up most of the time. Also his Gill looks like he has a wad of snuff in it. Is this normal and if not, what do you suggest. He has eaten very little since he arrived. Only a couple of bites maybe

Hi,

sorry, but your pic won’t open. Is there a way you could attach it another way. Wondering if it is a parasite, can you also give more info about your tank and the fish. Did you Qt, do a fw dip, any other treatment?

Unfortunately, the fish died. I examined it after it dies and discovered that two small grains of sand had gotten stuck high up under the gill which explained the swelling.
