New addition to the reef, (RIP) Copperband that refused to eat:-(. My coral beauty is keeping this guy backed into the corner but no nipping. Just a territorial matter I think. This Anthius is larger than his bully. I read that similar shaped fish tend to not get along? It's only been 24hrs and the Anthius is eating Mysis. I'm hopeful that these two can be friends soon.:)

The fathead is my favorite anthias next to the ventralis. I hope it works out for you. Keep us updated. Beautiful specimen!

it's a very shy fish to begin with reguardless if he has tank mates. I agree with other an accumulation box where you know it can get food would have been best.

Thanks for the compliments, the tank is a 34g cube, Reefer 170 model. I thought about an acclimation box but now it's going to be impossible to catch. The Coral beauty has taken the bullying to the next level. His cheek spines are out like a little gangsta. It's been a bad year as far as my fish purchase decisions.
(RIP copper band) If this one flops I'm just going to stick with corals.
