I have a reefer 250 with the following fish:
-purple tang.
-two fairy wrasse.
-1 melanaraus wrasse.
-pair of clownfish.
tank is a year old.
I am looking forward to add one or two fathead sunburst anthias, will it work and do they require any special care?

I have one in my 60 gallon cube and it does well with once a day frozen feedings. I started with 2 but the second one petered out and started hiding, eventually disappeared. Luckily they don’t need to be fed like hummingbirds with multiple daily feedings like many other anthias.

Does it feed on pellets? I usually feed both pellets and frozen food.

nope, mine doesn't touch pellets, supposedly people have luck with TDO pellets, but i haven't had luck with getting him to eat anything other than LRS Reef Frenzy. The other one may have just not taken to any foods, that's normally the biggest hurdle with anthias.
