For your return get some double sided sticky tape and something that had a hole in it and zip tie it to the back of the tank to hold it in place. " like one of your extras from your mp10

Ha thanks for that! ive been trying to figure out how the heck I was going to keep it in place

So I dont like how far out the drain goes from the bulkhead on the inside of the tank. the bulkhead I have is a completely threaded bulkhead and not a slip threaded like I would of liked to have. but at least now I know what works best after 4 or 5 different plumbing attempts lol

so I ordered a Male threaded x slip 90 degree elbow online so I can get the drain closer to the back wall. then hopefully I will be satisfied!

Mike look at my DIY trust me with alot of gravity feed lines you get a ton of bubbles ill take a video to show how good it works. I have a cap on the bottom of the pipe. It's a 4" but you can do the same with a 3" or 2"

Ya I saw that. It's a very nice idea! I'm thinking I won't have a problem with bubbles. But if and when I do I'll definitely do something like that!

The best part about it is if you cap the bottom all the junk collects in the tube and all you do is remove the pipe and clean out the tube and not your whole sump.

I was going to use socks but they are so annoying

I hate socks!! Only time I use them is when I do my monthly cleaning I take my turkey baser and spray out all the rocks and use my sock till the water is clear and repeat.

And your just going to have that in the corner of your sump where the water drains down correct?

Dang I need my sump! Then i can measure it out. In going to do this I believe. I'm going to send you a pm tomorrow to get some details

Definitively looking into this. Its like a mini settling tank which is exactly what I was trying to figure out how to build
