I know I can't wait for it to grow out! Hopefully everything will add some coral and grow a little faster with the new set up

I'm moving the rest of the corals over today! Ahhhh I'm scared to!

Oh geez I just realized that means moving the haddoni....

I've always read conflicting reports concerning the possible effects of their sting on humans. I myself have only heard anecdotal evidence. I've always handled mine with gloves. However, in the name of science I'm thinking you should do this move bare handed... Even feel free to lick him or whatever... and photograph any resulting damage. I believe we'd all appreciate the sacrifice to satisfy our scientific curiosity.

I would be careful moving all your corals over to the new tank so quickly. You have some awesome pieces and I would hate to see anything happen to them because if a hasty move. Eve though you used dry rock your tank still needs to cycle. Adding livestock so soon could end badly. Just a little word of caution.
Tank is looking great cant wait to see it loaded up with corals and fish. What are your plans for fish?

So I got everything moved over. I have about 30 pounds of extremly well cured live rock in the sump and in the tank. what I did was took a hammer to all of my pieces and made rubble lol. and I took about 10 pounds and put it in the display but what I did was tucked it behind the rock work now so you dont see it but its there! the rest of the rock is in the sump right before and right after the baffles so that way all the water runs through about 20 pounds of live rock before it gets into the tank. I also took the sand from my old tank and put it in the tank. ha it was pretty nasty luckily I had enough water from the old tank to wash it out really well.

So now I am in the process of placing and gluing the corals. I am getting rid of a few of them just because I want some room and its time they take a hike!

Ha ya they can be really nasty. When I worked at one of the LFS we used to get just regular green ones in all the time and they never did anything to me. just really sticky. but my buddy if he touches one he gets really red and bumpy in the areas he got touched by one.

me I just go in bare handed lol I fought Frank (the name of the Haddoni lol) for about 15 min trying to get him to stay where I wanted him to and to also not stick to my fingers!!! lol it was pretty funny. but he is looking really nice and happy right now!

Yep I am being very careful. Ive got a lot of live rock in there that I have had for a long time so I know it is full of bacteria and will be able to handle everything right now. but I will definitely be watching everything closely and I am going to do a water change tomorrow and then a few days later just to stay up on things.

but for fish this is my plan

I have:
Pair Black Ice Clowns
Starry Blenny

Ill be adding:
Trio of Red Saddle Anthias
Fairy wrasse, maybe a pair but probably not just depends on what size they are (I have no clue what kind I just know I dont want it to get larger than 4")
Pest eating wrasse (something like a possum wrasse or pink streaked)
Mandarin, Maybe a pair

Mmmmm that's sexy and fat...

yes it is!!

Yeah! mandarin pair! do it! Bacardi and cola! do it! (Hope someone gets that reference) I'm getting ready to get my red scooter out of the breeder box!

Oh and give me your carpet and zoas! Please? I asked nicely.
