After two frustrating weeks of watching this fish (which I picked up two weeks ago) ignore all the foods that I introduced -- from spirulina brine shrimp to grindal worms to "special" angel formula -- I finally enticed it to dine heartily on clam on the half-shell. Yay! It also pecks at the GHA in the tank, but I can't imagine that's a nutritionally dense food.

I also can't imagine that clams provide a nutritionally complete meal. Or will they? Any thoughts on increasing nutritional content -- aside from soaking the clams in Selcon -- or alternate foods for this picky eater?

Actually, clams are one of the most nutritional foods you can feed in your reef tank. I am pretty sure they are most nutritional than any of the shrimp or regular foods we feed. However, you do want to add some variety into the mix for the angel.

You try nori with it?

I also like using easyreefs massstick and calanus for picky eithers.
