Faucet leaking at adapter

I feel I'm losing pressure(pressure at 20psi) from my faucet due to it leaking like this (video) is there anyway I could fix this? 16090312065531000319064246954459.jpg

Make sure the adapter has a rubber washer in it otherwise it will leak. If it does, tIghten adapter, add some Teflon tape.

I dont believe it does... is there a replacement I could get in place? Or something more permanent?
 
There’s lots of adapter types. The one to the faucet is prob the least used as it takes away your faucet. You want one that connects to the cold water under the sink and then the cold water faucet to that. This way both work without taking away the faucet.
 
Yes- sounds like gasket is missing. This may help also to give you better seal :
