I got this about a month ago, have been moving around sand bed to hotter spots to get acclimated. A couple days ago I moved it to the rocks only 2-3 inches up and now this white spot came up. I turned down the lights and will try and start the process over. Is my thinking in the right direction or am I totally wrong?

Sal 1.025, alk 9, no ammonia or nitrite, 5 nitrate, ph 8.2

76F temp and the tank is fairly new 3 months old

Those lights can grow corals just fine, still the rock work is pretty white after 3 months. How long are you running them and at what intensity?

Just recently turned it down but was at 50% blue and 25% whites at 8 hrs a day

The top of them are, that rock the coral is on is rubble that I use as frags

Went through the diatom bloom and all
