Favia bubbling up?

Looks like I might be getting a satellite colony growing on the tank bottom. Another favia i have on the other side of the tank is doing something similar.
Yes fraging itself. When it finally detaches itself you will be able to do pick it up and mounted on a plug or a tile looks exciting
 
lol no, though it’s been 4 years since I had those radon levels checked....
 
Just got one in the mail. Didn’t look good. Was supposed to be red but had a greenish brown coat on it. Now it has bubbled up off of the rock it’s on.

Are the lights out in your second photo? It looks simply like the polyps have expanded which is normal.
 
Any updates on your Salvador Dali favia?

nothing to significant. The bubbles been gone for some time, and The favia is still alive though for reasons unknown about 2 weeks ago I nearly lost all lps in my tank and most of my montiporas. Possibly a tank crash that I caught in time.
