i haven't had too many favias and the ones that i have dont seem to be as nice as they should be. what are some guidelines i can follow to try and get these things to look better. thanks. (i think i may have a raptor peace)

I have he Raptor's Peace and it is on the sandbed with 120W LEDS 5 1/2" off the water (30" deep tank) It has beautiful color. Make sure your alk levels are stable and on the higher end.

good thread, I have a few that look amazing but my PPE "chalice" which is a favia will not color up, I dont know what to do. We need Soccerbag's advice he is the man at getting awesome colors.

i just started paying more attention to alk because im also trying to get some sps to color up. i think it is starting to be stable and where i want it to be.

ALK MAG CAl are all important when it comes to stony corals and corals that encrust.

I give all my favias, low, moderate, abd high light depending on the favia.

I give Raptors about moderate light, mine is about 36" from a 400 MH on the bottom of my tank, grows well, looks good.
