Favia vs chalice ID

Hey guys, so I bought this piece awhile back from my lfs as a stained glass chalice. I was trying to sell a frag and it was brought up that it’s likely a favia instead. Was hoping for y’all’s thoughts on this and the reason behind it? Thanks in advance! It’s the piece in the middle above the goni.

Definitely favia, designer name I don’t know lol. Beautiful colony btw!

Definitely looks more like a favia to me, chalice does not have those raised walls/pods like that

Favites Pentagona commonly called a favia but not really. Commonly called "war coral". It is aggressive.
