Does anyone have any idea how favia and favites go with one another?
I have a small colony of each. While they're not touching, they're close enough that they may as well be.
I'm pretty much out of space so would love to leave them where they are and not rearrange everything as everything is happy and growing where it is. I obviously don't want to lose either of them and am looking for some ideas as to how they may interact.
I haven't noticed any issues so far, but I'm way too cautious not to double check haha.
The majority of info I can find on google is for ID purposes, not related to potential warfare :(
I found one reference to warfare with favia winning, but a single reference isn't convincing enough. I need some confirmation!
Thanks!

Could be ok. I have kept multiple closed brains close to one another with no irritation before. Usually, closely related species tolerate eachother fairly well, but it can be a crap-shoot. Keep an eye out for sweepers or mesentaries as that is a brain corals main form of defense.

I've had a war coral very close to a moonstar for about four months with no noticeable problems; maybe your combination will also be okay together.
