Just wanted to express my opinion on how tough favias are....I mean, lowlight, high light, stung, ripped apart, they always find ways to make it back...
It one of those corals that are worth the money spent because they will hang on for as long as possible. For a favia to die in a tank, someone's parameters have to be really bad...mushrooms in my led years bleached on me, but my favias didn't seem to care...
I have a frag that has seen it all, was stung by an acan colony that dropped on it and after looking at the damage, I thought "this one is def be going to the garbage..." But instead it made it back, colored up and now is looking back at me with a "what's up" attitude....
Also, they are gorgeous, with some colors(jawbreaker) that makes them belong to a centerpiece in any tank...
Just wanted to share my appreciation to such a beautiful and tough coral....
Anyone thinks similarly?
